Safe Sober Prom Night
Co-founded in 1991 by David Daggett, Safe Sober Prom Night is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that encourages teens to stay safe and drug and alcohol free during prom season through positive peer pressure. Over 450 high schools in North Carolina and South Carolina have participated in the program, and over 400,000 students have taken the Safe Sober Prom Night “Do It Right!” pledge. Since its inception, more than $45,000 has been awarded to schools with the highest percentage of participation.
Daggett Shuler is pleased to continue the 23 year tradition of Safe Sober Prom Night this year! In the spring of 2013 the Safe Sober Prom Night program will be active in 38 high schools in the triad and will receive over 14,000 signed pledge cards and will pass out over 14,000 T-Shirts promoting a safe and sober prom night for students.
