Daggett Shuler was thrilled to welcome Ironman Champion and 2008 Olympian Dirk Bockel to our office on Thursday! Bockel, a native of Luxembourg, came to Winston-Salem for a book signing for his recently released book, The Art of Triathlon Training: A Proven Guide to Your Triathlon Journey.

Friends with David Daggett for many years, Dirk visited the offices of Daggett Shuler to meet the staff. Being an Olympian, a multi-time Ironman Champion, and setting the record for the 5th fastest time in history of the sport, Dirk has a unique view of what it takes to build a champion, and how to stay at the top of your game. “Being a champion in sports is very similar to being a champion in whatever you do,” Bockel shared, “it requires constant betterment and improvement.”
Daggett Shuler has represented Dirk and he describes the experience as being represented by a “Championship Team” who knows how to win. He was excited to meet in person our team members who helped and worked on Dirk’s case.
As a bonus (for all of us!) Dirk took David on a long run . . . needless to say Dirk punished David in a way none of the rest of us ever could! Thank you Dirk for taking time from your US book tour to stop by for a visit! Go get ‘em Champ!
