Safe Sober Prom Night is in Full Swing and Coming to A School Near You!

Safe Sober Prom Night continues to use positive peer pressure to encourage high school students to make smart choices during Prom. This year David Daggett and Griff Shuler will visit 48 high schools throughout the Triad to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking and using drugs on prom night.

So far, David and Griff have visited 8 high schools so that students can sign the Safe Sober Prom Night Pledge card promising, not to drink or do drugs on Prom Night.

It’s very exciting watching students sign a pledge card alongside their friends promising to stay safe and sober on prom night. The students who sign the “Do it Right” pledge receive a free t-shirt proclaiming their promise to their peers.

The following schools participating in SSPN Pledge Day this week are:

  • 4/18 – Eastern Guilford
  • 4/18 – NE Guilford
  • 4/18 – Grimsley
  • 4/19 – Randleman
  • 4/19 – East Davidson
  • 4/19 – Lexington
  • 4/20 – WS Prep
  • 4/20 – Carver
  • 4/ 20 – North Forsyth
  • 4/20 – Reynolds

We look forward to meeting all of the students throughout the Triad community who take the “Do it Right” pledge this prom season. Remember to NEVER drink and drive – visit www.safesober.com to find out more about how you can get involved!
