On Wednesday, January 17th, Daggett Shuler Law attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler returned to the set of Triad Today!
David and Griff were joined on set by Bob J Gfeller Jr. the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma. The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma works to raise awareness about the best methods to prevent pediatric injuries, as well how our community can improve care for injured children.
The mission of the Childress Institute is “to discover and share the best ways to prevent and treat severe injuries in children.” The Childress Institute works to improve trauma care for children in the 80% of hospitals in the United States that are not qualified as trauma centers.
David, Griff and Bob discussed how parents, teachers, and other members of our community could help prevent pediatric injuries. And they also discussed what we all could do to help ensure that injured children get the immediate help and attention they need.
David and Griff were happy to be back on set with Triad Today host Jim Longworth. As a regular guest on Triad Today, Daggett Shuler will be introducing many important and interesting topics monthly, along with local guest appearances by some of the Triad’s most respected professionals.
